What moves, motivates and inspires?
As a writer/creator you need to start thinking about the things that inspire you. What are the things about the world you want to express? Are you happy, sad, angry, in love? What are the things that we care about? What do you want to say about it? (This is when you start and puke on the page.)
Knowing thyself is always the place to start. This will lead you to the happy problem of "What am I going to write about today?"

When you think about the things that you like it can help you figure out what kind of stories you want to pursue. You will come up with 25 specific story ideas for Weds and list them on your blog.
Think about it this way:
A person
An event
An place
An object
An art or action
Specific means what is the WHY of one of these four story opportunities. Don't just say, "I want to do a story on my coach, my boss, my teacher".
WHO CARES?
